The 8th Successful Pathway Project is Complete!
We are back from the wonderful trip to southwest Virginia where time was spent visiting with the Copey Learning Center guests and chaperon. There is way too much to say in words so we will use photos of the Copey students, Matias and Amy to share the news. Also, included are the volunteers, “Friends” and supporters.
Photos include time spent in Washington, D.C. while visiting some of the historical sites in our country’s Capitol.
Other photos showing the times spent in southwest Virginia on or near the Emory & Henry University Campus and The Barter Theater.

The “Friends of Copey’s” annual reception is the most remarkable and unforgettable time spent with “Friends” and the students. And, a fun filled day spent in Dollywood.
The Pathway Project Fundraising Update..!
We are proclaming a preliminary victory on our success. Our initial estimated cost was $4,500.00. As we got deeper into the project we quickly experienced higher than expected expenses. Our last projection has been raised to $5,500.00.
All costs have now been incurred and we are compiling the final expenses. It appears we are very close to the latest cost projection of $5,500.00.
On the fundraising side, we are also very close to having the necessary funds. I am 100% certain we will have all we need now to pay all debts. This year’s Pathway Project has cost on average $1,834.00 for each of the three travelers (the two students and the chaperone). The expenses covered an eight day trip from Copey to the USA and back to Copey. All meals, ground and air travel, hotel and miscellaneous costs were covered to make this our eigth successful Pathway Project which has resulted in seventeen Copey students visiting our country since 2016.
I extend my sincere thanks to all who provided financial support as well as those who prayed for our success. We remain strong “possibilitarians” and function with great faith.
